Paris released from jail

WTF? Already?

On the news last night the reporter said she was having a difficult time. Hmmm, that is why it's called jail and not the St. Regis.

unfuckingbelievable. gimme a break! jail isn't supposed to be a good time biotch! now she's under house arrest. oooooo, such punishment (much eye rolling).

T.K. in Ohio here: LOL!!! at gibber! I agree whole heartedly, although I have to say I'm not surprised. I sort of suspected they were going to start cushioning things when they lessened the time she had to stay. Then as time got closer and she started freakin', I knew they would do something. Money talks & bullshit walks ..... literally.

Yes, I have to laugh at her house arrest as well, considering her "house" is nicer than 5 star hotels. Poverina!

I can't believe it! What a farce. Did she even do a day?

Must add that I found out first about this on your blog :)

gibber - I know, she cracked after only 3 days.

T.K. - Even I'm shocked at how little time she had to serve. Nice justice system.

Sognatrice - Poverina indeed. It must be tragic not to be able to be on a red carpet every night of the week.

delina - she stayed in jail for three whole days, have you no sympathy? :)

I am so disgusted, I can't even come up with some witty, smarty pants thing to say.
Just completely digusted.

BOOO!!!

wanderlust - I hear you. I know the jails are overcrowded but this is crazy. What was the point?

I heard this morning, on the BBC, that the prosecutor or the judge or somebody was going to try to appeal this later today. Hope that works...

My British husband John suggested that she was released because it was discovered that she didn't look good in orange!

Janet - Yes, she has to be back at court at 9:00 a.m. the morning. Maybe next time they will let her take some of own clothes. kidding.

Two words for you: publicity stunt.

And, I also found out about this first on your blog. I can't believe it but yet somehow I absolutely can believe it. ;-)

Shelley - now there are helicopters all over my neighborhood. She lives up the street in the Hills. I feel so bad for her neighbors who can't deal with all the press.

While it's true even non-celebs get to leave our over crowded jails early for non-violent offenses, to release her after only 3 days is crazy.

She's going back in! I hardly dare admit it, but I felt a bit sorry for her in those photos (where she's crying in the car).

delina - I did for a second until I heard she screamed "IT'S NOT FAIR...MOM!) sorry the spoiled brat would not be in this situation if she took advantages of all the breaks she received. Also she really pissed of the judge when she showed up the court late, as if normal rules don't apply to her.

I'm not sure what is wrong with her advisors. It's a P.R. disaster. Apparently she was going to have a party at her house tonight. Bad idea.

wanderlust - I would say your opinion is in the majority.

I have no pity for Paris either since she is going back to jail. She cried that she didn't want to go because it's not fair? It's a jail, who does want to go to one? Who does say it's fair that they are there? What a stupid mess.

I'm a bit mixed up now, is she in our out? Apparently she has severe mental problems...But if they took all the people out of jail with mental problems...Someone mentioned she has claustrophobia in the cell. I imagine anyone going from a mansion to a cell would have adaptation problems.

Her PR people should FIRED! Did they learn NOTHING from Martha Stewart? Fight your sentence like hell in the courts, serve your time, make friends with the inmates, get them to make you a fly-ass poncho and come out of jail looking awesome. Duh.

I'm sure there is a special place in hell for me, but I was DOUBLED over with laughter when i saw her crying in the car. I was shaking with laughter. See, my boss and I were watching MSNBC with the breaking news that Gen Pace and the number two guy at the joint chiefs were out. Gee, sorta important considering we're AT FUCKING WAR.

BUT WAIT. We need to leave the pentagon now to cover paris hilton leaving her home. Sometimes. Just sometimes. I hate this country.

OY VEY.

If the spoiled little brat has sever mental probs, then I'm sorry for that. Tough shit. So do lots of other inmates. See the county doctor and be done with it. These people won't learn until someone lays down the law and says they ARE NOT ABOVE IT because they are wealthy and cute.

UGH. Rant over.

j. doe - I have been avoiding the news just so I don't have to hear about her.

delina - she's back in. poverina.

gibber - a fly-ass poncho? haha. See Paris would look at such a gift and say, "ugh that is not hot," instead of having any gratitude. From eveything I have heard about her (except for the one producer friend who said she was smart) she has no class and really doesn't give a crap about anyone but herself.

I don't think she will learn a damn thing from jail and I'm sure now we will have to hear even more about her when she is released from "her terrible" situation.

wait, we are in the middle of a war?
