Yesterday was not a good day.
development exec on phone: you seem down today, did you also have (the personal thing he is going through) happen to you?
me: A friend died today with most of his co-workers at Cantor Fitzgerald
development exec: Oh right, today is September 11th.
Okay does this man watch any news other than Entertainment Tonight?
I didn't sleep at all last night. My next door neighbor's kid started bawling a couple times. I could hear my upstairs neighbor slam her windows shut. I don't know whatis wrong with my neighbor. I banged on the wall once because she was yelling at her daughter to shut up. At 3:00 in the morning. She banged back. Is this child having bad dreams? What is she crying about almost every night?
My workout this morning was a joke. I was so tired I barely hit my target heart rate on the treadmill. I thought I would feel better after going to the gym but I don't. I am exhausted.
The one postive thing going on is my re-write. I am going to print out a copy and work on it during my flight. I am so glad I will be with my family this weekend.
I printed out all the forms I need to apply for my French citizenship. My sister and I are going to ask our mom to help us fill them out. Despite seven years of French, I cannot speak it. Not sure how long this process will take. Once I have my E.U. citizenship I can plan my move.

Hey NYC. I am very sorry about the loss of your friend on 9/11. It's been a tough week. I myself have been kind of down, here in NJ. I remember that day and when I worked in Manhattan. A very scary and sad day.
So you're applying for your French citizenship. Congratulations. Are you planning to move overseas?
Hope you feel better and good luck with everything.
Thanks Franca.
I would like to move to Rome in the near future. With E.U. citizenship I can work and live legally in any E.U. country.
It is very difficult for Americans to get a work visa overseas unless a company sponsors you. I don't have a trust fund so I like to keep my options open. :)
