It's Spain vs. Holland in the World Cup finals

So interesting. During the early rounds the European teams (other than Germany) were not looking good at all.

Now an European team will win a World Cup title outside of Europe for the first time.

I will miss Germany's style of play.

I think the Spain/Holland game will be a good match. I wish I could watch the game in St. Maarten. It's going to be so fun.

Any predictions?

We were in mourning last night but on the other side, Spain played really well and the German team is super, super young! They will be prepared for the European Championsips in 2 years -- and watch out in 4 years. I thought Spain played well, but I want Holland to take home the Cup.

I don't know, but Spain and Holland both have some very good looking players on their teams! It will not be a boring game by any stretch! :-D

I'm going for Spain myself. :-) Gotta stick with my Latin/Mediterranean guys. But will be happy with either outcome.

So the octopus was right to say Spain would win.

Diana - I agree...The Euro Cup will be here before we know it and Germany should do very well.

Tina - ha! You are correct Tina, both teams bring the sexy. While I like tall, dark and handsome men, I have to root for Holland because of family ties and what not.

Redbonegirl97 - Yes he was. This while octopus situation cracks me up!

I'd love to start a conversation about it...

I don't understand why some posters always want to come on here and hate about Rome! Haters gonna hate! Godverdomme!

gibber - I only posted it because I wasn't sure it was from that Anon guy. Thanks to his unrelenting rudeness, I started moderating comments.

People have been complaining about Rome for over 2500 years. I've lived in a bunch of cities all over America...all have their good and bad points. If an Italian lived in L.A. and was blogging about how amazing it was, I would never go on her site and argue with her that she wasn't seeing L.A. for what it is. Maybe the City of Angels works for her in a way it didn't for me. Different strokes for different folks.
