I'm rewriting a script set in the '80. I've been listening to a LOT of '80s music lately.
I read El DeBarge is making a comeback. Does this mean that Al B. Sure isn't far behind?
I loved this song and played it to death. El had a beautiful voice.
I totally remember the cover art from this album. I wish folks would stop trying to bring back 80's fashion. It wasn't fly the first time around.
Have a great weekend!

Man! This is good CHEEZ!! :D
He sounds so much like MJ in the 1st few seconds.
I wonder how much their iTunes downloads have increased since he was on BET. Love him.

Word, wurd, and werd on the 80's fashion comment! Nice flashback, though. I liked "The Dream," which was sampled by everybody and their mama. Happy weekend & happy writing!
Did you see the UNSUNG special about DeBarge. So good in that Behind the Music Way. Super sad though.
somepinkflowers - I LOVE Pat Benatar. What a voice. And yes I know all the words to a few REO song. heh
simone - I think he's also a radio DJ. I used to own an Al B. Sure cassette.
viajera - he totally does.
redbonegirl97 - I would assume quite a bit.
rose in cali - I like "The Dream" too. I hope DeBarge received some money from all the sampling.
nichelle - no...I haven't seen. I did read there was a lot of dysfunction in that family. Sad.
