Cardiac arrest?! At 32?
This is just sad.
Jezebel.com has a nice write up about her.
While she had some big struggles in her life and career lately, "CLUELESS" will always remain one of my favorite quotable flicks.
"Why should I listen to you, anyway? You're a virgin who can't drive."
"That was way harsh, Tai."

i know.. it's so sad. i was shocked to read about it last night. although she's not my favorite actress, she's had some good roles but Clueless will always be her best!
ps.. I just read on Superficial.com that sources from TMZ claim her husband DOESN'T want an autopsy... strange huh?!
Sooo sad :(
You know that cluless is one of my favorite movies of all time. Re: her husband. I've read that he's jewish and some (not all) but some Jews do not have autopsies done. My mother in law did not, for example, when she died suddenly. There are exemptions that can be made...one would think this would be a good case for that.
She's a sweet woman. RIP Brittany Murphy.
Your update was the first I heard about it. A real shock. I wasn't a huge fan but she was a scene stealer, had a contagious smile.
Liked the Jezebel article. Very thoughtful.
Anyway, like I said before, this is the saddest year ever. Can't wait for 2010.
it's really sad. what the heck happened? and for them to say it was natural causes- seems so odd that a 32 yr old would drop like that. She was my favorite in Clueless, and the line you posted is a classic.
so sad
She was a cutie. Seemed really bubbly and sweet. What a shocker.
Still so sad about it. And of course now everybody comes forward to say she had problems. Well if you knew she had problems, how come you weren't helping her!!! Makes me mad!
Ciao Nyc/caribbean ragazza
RIP Brittany...I agree with Los Angelista. If she had problems, why nobody helped her??? so sad, she was so young!
