Flashback Friday – Sacha Baron Cohen - Talladega Nights

I was listening to my iPod the other day when some jazz popped up. I immediately thought of this scene. ha

SBC plays a gay French Formula One driver and this is his first scene. I don't know what is funnier, his bad accent, or the discussion regarding crepes being thin pancakes.

Having a great weekend.

Ha! I love it!! I've never seen the film but I'm crazy for Will Ferrell. He makes my head spin. I love Chinese food and really thin pancakes too.

Thanks for the laugh sis. My favorite line of the movie is when he says "with all due respect, and remember i'm saying with all due respect..." hehehe. actually, that's my second favorite line. you know what my first line is....

DON"T YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME RICKY BOBBY. DON"T YOU PUT THAT ON ME!!!!!!

milanese - there are so many lines that just cracked me up in this movie.

diana - you're welcome.

carrieilty - :)

gibber - That scene had me on the floor. Michael Clark Duncan was so "dramatical". haha

Too funny! This was actually on TV last night and will be on TBS all weekend. I love SBC's interpretation of a Formula One driver :)

Heaven! I'm forcing myself not to watch this for a third time right now.

I'm a Will Ferrell fan who hated most of 'Talladega Nights' and a Sascha Baron Cohen fan who loathes most of 'Borat'--and their scenes in this movie were worth ten times the price of admission. Thanks so much for posting this.

Also, I'm a sucker for a great crepe, so I love how the whole bar gets really into the "thin pancakes" love.

I'm *totally* going to be stealing the lines "Why do you want me to break your arm so badly?" and "Your injury is one of ignorance and pride." in the near future. ;->

yvonne - As far as Will Ferrell movies go, I liked Anchor Man more that TN but I agree with you that the scenes with him and Sacha were hilarious.

That line about ignorance and pride kills me every time.
