Last night I had a Los Angeles flashback.

Around three in the morning, I woke up when I felt my bed moving. Seeing how I was the only one in it I was alarmed.

I heard car/scooter alarms go off and the whole building was shaking.

I am watching the news now to find out more info. There was a major 6.3 earthquake in Abruzzo last night.

It's beyond awful. The stone consruction here just crumbles when this happens. So many dead, injured and homeless. It is heartbreaking.

I heard this getting ready for work this morning & instantly thought of you!!! SO glad to hear you're okay - prayers to everyone else - it looks so devastating. I remember my one quake experience from my L.A. days - very, very scary!

I turned on the radio this morning and couldn't believe the news. We have a good friend in l'Aquila who fortunately is alright. He and his family had to spend the night in the car though. Scary stuff.

My sister Nell and I are saying silent prayers for all affected by this horrible event. Hope you are well.

ciao everyone...yes I fine. Last night was a little surreal. It took me a minute to realize what was happening. Once the "Oh sh*t it's an earthquake." light came on I was freaked out.

I know there are earthquakes here but they don't happen as frequently as they do in L.A.

So many people have lost there lives and many are injured and homeless. It's a horrible situation.

Thanks for checking in...glad you're okay. So weird to feel it in Rome; so tragic to see it destroy such a lovely place and so many innocents. Horrible, horrible news.
