I'm almost done with the first draft of a TV spec pilot (have no idea what the heck I'm doing) and need to focus. I've turned in the other spec and will hear feedback about that after the weekend. Fingers crossed for some good news. If so, we start talking about what to do with said script.
Easter is a big deal here in Italy. Many of my friends are off on Monday.
My parents will be relieved to know that that I do plan on going to church this Sunday. I'm not sure which one but hello I have many choices. My dad called me a Chreaster once, saying I only go to church on Christmas and Easter but that is not true. I also went the Sunday before Christmas the last time I was home for the holidays.
Buona Pasqua.

Cheaster...good one :) Yay! Hope to see you soon....my hub is in Rome now but I won't make it down this weekend...
I'm from Alabama, we would call you a CME church member. You only show your face at Christmas, Mother's Day and Easter.
Monica, that is too funny. I'ma have to use that one.
Buona Pasqua - enjoy!
Chreaster's unite! Yeah, last time I was in church was last Easter. We went to Agape and Reverend Michael did not rock the house, so this year, hoping to drag the fiance to F.A.M.E. which, if you can ignore the ushers stepping and dipping down the aisles in their uniforms and white gloves, always delivers a good sermon. It's better on the radio, though, where I can hear the minister's quite sophisticated message and experience it on the metaphorical level of my belief, only. When you're in the church, it's hard to ignore the fact that they really do believe Jesus died for their sins. There are so many things wrong with that sentence that I don't know where to start (but no offense to the true believers out there -- I really do respect everyone's beliefs, including mine!:-).
Congrats on the writing, chica, and thanks for visiting my blog.
sara - Sorry you're not coming down but guess what? I have to work. I need a vacation.
Monica - that is hilarious. I've never heard that before.
Ms. Wooden Shoes - I plan to use it too.
jen - thank you! Hope you have a great weekend.
paula - maybe we should get a T-shirt made or something. I have such mixed feeling about this whole religion situation. I wish we could go to Urth Cafe and talk about it (when not being annoyed by the "hipsters" talking loudly on their cell phones).
Congrats on your engagement! When Nichelle mentioned your fiancee was moving I could not stop smiling. I remember when you first met him.
I'm so bummed. Not only am I not spending passover with the hubby and his family, our brother isn't coming down for easter. So I'm all alone and exhausted from work. Maybe I'll shock the world and actually go to church. Tho what probably will happen is I will sleep in, listen to some religious music and enjoy a pretty day outside somewhere.
Miss you so much.
Seestor.
Arlene,

Buona Pasqua from a fellow Cheaster! xx

katerina - will do.
megan - ha. grazie. anche te.
I'm following your lead and moving to Brazil in September to write (with no plans to work a "real job" until at least January).
Claude ha mercy, what am I doing?
fly brother - good for you! Giving yourself a set amount of time helps. Good luck with the writing.
