It's cold, it's raining...here's a little Don Draper to brighten your day

Season Two of Mad Men started here last month.

Love it.

This photo of Don Draper reminds me of my dad. He used to wear suits with this cut and a hat back in the day.

A trailer for the second season

Are you loving season 2 as much as I am? And here's a question I've been meaning to ask, during the opening credits we see a man (Don?)falling off the building. Is this foreshadowing? What do you think?

I missed the original airing in the states but I love it.

Don Draper is a Man...I don't know why but he is.

joanne - the second season is great so far. I think the man falling is Don's generation and how that whole way of life is changing. We know what happens in the 60s so it's interesting to see the character heading unknowingly toward the cliff.

glamah16 - I wish Mr. Draper was here. ha

skywalker - I agree. Maybe being tall, dark and handsome has something to do with it.

city girl - AMC probably will right before season 3 starts.

Season Two is da bomb. And Don Draper is in many, many ways a nightmare, but a complex, sometimes inexplicably decent, and compelling "hero" nonetheless.

(But I can't ever watch him lovingly call his daughter Sally "Salamander" again, 'cause I teared up like a hot mess.)

I loved this this whole season, and I adore a show that makes me think long after each episode ends, is rebroadcast, pressed onto a DVD, sold via iTunes, etc. ;-> By any chance did Jon Hamm's appearance on "Saturday Night Live" make its way to Italy somehow? Good stuff!

yvonne - I agree. What a great character for Jon Hamm to play. I want to dislike Don Draper but I can't.

I saw a few clips of his SNL on Jezebel. He's funny.

I'm with you. When he calls her salamander I do get chocked up. She is such a daddy's girl. Remember when she went to his office? Priceless.
