Flashback Friday – Take That - "Everything Changes"

I happened to have MTV Italia on while they were playing Take That’s Top Ten. TT was huge in the UK but not so much in the States.

I barely remember a song called “Back for Good” which I think was their biggest hit in the U.S.

I forgot Robbie Williams was in this group. When did this video come out? It’s so upbeat and cheesilicious.

Have a great weekend.

I love *love* Take That. They didn't get their credit in the US. Glad I "met 'em" over here!

Oh my goodness! I absolutely remember that song. However, I don't remember Robbie at all.

I think they were pretty much overshadowed by our home-grown boy bands...

Take That and Robbie Williams were/are bigger than life ever since I arrived in Europe in 1994. Huge, like they fill Wembly at the drop of a hat. It was MOUNSTROUS here in Europe when Robbie Williams went solo. Take That puts on one hell of Show. Robbie also put out a Rat Pack CD with a big band. He is extremely talented, with lots of addiction problems. British boy groups dominated pop music in the 90's on this side of the ocean. Most of the groups dissolved and are now reuniting.

I, as an official hater of pop music, have trouble admitting that if I catch Take That or Robbie on the telly, I cannot turn it off :)

Forgot to say, they were so young in that video..

Here's a link for Robbie's rendition of My Way. In Europe he was compared to Mercury and Presley.

So glad to see the my 'boys' from way back then singing in the good old bad old days!

As Delina says Take That are a British institution! Robbie went on to become a sensation, yes, he's a bit mixed up but he can sure hold a tune, and strangely sexy too, if you like Norman Wisdom!

The 'boys' have recently had a come back in the UK, all bit, older, wiser and one of them quite a lot fatter! I guess that's what happens when you become an 'old boy band'! amanda

Ciao tutti. I'm glad all of you were able to "ahem" appreciate this boy band classic.

Diana thanks for the link.

I know Robbie was a huge solo act in Europe but he never quite made it big in the U.S. Like Winegrrl said we were too busy with our own bands like New Kids on the Block, New Edition and later N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, 98 degrees etc.
